I’m one of those people who tries to look put together no matter the occasion. (Yes I am 100% against sweats at the airport!)
This is a relatively casual outfit but still suited for dinner or drinks. Earlier I had the top and jeans on with leopard flats to run some errands. To take it up a notch I added the blazer and necklace, took away the flats and big day bag and added maryjane pumps and a smaller cross body clutch.
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway!

Sometimes in the fall the city of Los Angeles gets a bit confused as to what season it is. That’s what happened last week when I was forced to put the chunky knit down and throw on denim cut offs. Now for some fun news! I have teamed up with Shabby Apple to bring you a giveaway! One of you lucky peeps receive either the key to my heart necklace or the light as a feather necklace. You can choose which upon winning

When I got these, they weren’t THAT short…then I made the mistake of putting them in the dryer. Ok, I didn’t put them in the drier but when I was in Boston back in August, the evil laundry woman my bf brought our laundry to who bleached a striped dress, shrunk a maxi and these shorts did! I mean if your job is doing laundry you would think…(sigh) I digress.
I waited until the weather cooled off so I could pair them with tights, however now that I have I see that they are still a tad too short. And I am a lot disappointed. Anyway here they are as my last look in October’s style series. I spared you a rear view

I have been living in denim lately. I feel like every time I go to my closet the first thing I reach for is a pair of jeans. In the spirit of wearing things in my closet that I never do, I pulled out this pair of Diesal jeans I got a looong time ago. I rarely wear them b/c they don’t have much stretch so they aren’t as comfy as some of my others. They are cute nevertheless so I decided to pair them with the beige blazer for the third outfit in the style series.

This is look numero dos of my October style series starring this beige blazer. I decided to pair it with this leopard print skirt I scored at Crossroads a little while back. I kept things neutral and added this beaded necklace my girlfriend gave me. Isn’t it cute?
