Royal Blue

Last month I began a style series taking one item from my closet that I never wear and challenging myself to style it at least 4 ways during the month. (I know I’m a little late this month but hey, better late than never right?!)

So without further adieu…this month’s item is this beige blazer. It was given to me by a friend almost a year ago and I have never worn it. Yes, that’s right, I said never. So it makes sense that I force it into rotation since I have no plans to give it up anytime soon!

I love this color blue so when I saw this dress I had to have it. It’s a body con dress however, which makes it tricky to wear during the day without getting lots of stares. This blazer is the perfect thing to make it more wearable…it’s a win, win! :)

Nostalgia

Haven’t worn these shoes in awhile…Remember when I got them? It seems so long ago. Figured I would give them some play to remind me of better times.

I wore this casual look yesterday for some girl time/sushi happy hour. I really can never go wrong with this blazer, it gives even the most casual look a flare of sophistication.

Happy Monday! :)

Leather and Lace

This lace top has quickly become one of my favorite things in my closet. It’s super feminine and can be paired with everything from a pencil skirt to destroyed denim. The tiered sleeves give it a special added detail.

Speaking of special, I scored this vintage leather coach bag at Melrose Trading Post. It’s the perfect size and color to fill a void in my collection of bags and I figured I’d give you guys a break from the Balenciaga that I haven’t been able to put down! ;)

Behind the Scenes

Last week I had a job hosting several “How to” style segments. I asked my partner in crime Mel to tag along and be my model.

It’s never work when you love what you do. And getting to do it with friends? Even better!

Mel between shots.

In this segment I had to style this red cardigan. I put together this back to school look keeping it simple with a black and white base. :)

Coming Soon

Can we talk about these boots? Today it was cool enough to finally wear them. They are super cute don’tcha think?

On a whole other note Mel and I are are getting REAL close to The Wear to go Girls launching and I am really nervous and excited. To stay up to date make sure you follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
