Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you can’t wear black and white. Though I have been playing with color lately, black and white is still my preferred color palette pretty much year round. This outfit is a perfect example of how it can be done in the summer.
I am obsessed with this top. It’s a tee shirt/ blouse hybrid (a trouse? a blee? ok maybe not…) which in my opinion is a match made in top heaven. Tee shirts are my absolute favorite tops and to have them in a blouse like fabric with different prints and colors is my idea of perfection. This line is by Pleione, and they make these amazing tops (many of which I am obsessing over) and there are also some dresses as well. The line is carried at Nordstrom so be sure to check it out.
I paired the black and white print with my absolute favorite wrap skirt that I picked up a few weeks ago by Kardashian Kollection. It has intentional ruching once it’s zipped that is really flattering on a curvy figure. This look was very office chic so I added some edgier heels and a statement necklace just to lighten the mood and this gold python bag by Miche to break up the color palette a bit. To finish the look with summer vibes I added a neon lip.
