This is an outfit I wore at a holiday party I threw for a few girlfriends. I know I’m a few months late but I came across these pics and realized I never posted them….so here ya go

As you can see by this outfit my obsession with minimalism and simplicity continues. I got these ankle skinnies at F21 for 10.50! I am not one to usually buy cheap denim, (shoes, bags and denim are usually my only big ticket splurges) but I saw these on display and thought, “10.50? I wonder how they fit?” 10 minutes later I was at the register with not one, but two pairs. They are light weight so perfect for going into spring, fit great and did I mention only 10.50?!

The other day I had an audition where they wanted me to look like sex on a platter in a short skirt. This is fine, however when you have other errands to run in the process and it’s noon, people look at you funny when you are dressed like that. So to try to play this down a bit I threw on a black tee, girly jewelry and a plaid flannel. I am not a big plaid person but this yellow and white print is so light it’s really easy to wear.

I’ve only ever entered two blog contests, one was with refinery 29 a looong time ago, and one was, well, now. I don’t now what possessed me to do it, maybe I haven’t had enough coffee this morning but either way it’s done.
