How to Transition to Fall in Denim on Denim

The truth is, fall takes awhile to really arrive in Los Angeles. A little fun fact, September is typically our hottest month, so when we think about fall fashion, we typically have to think about transitional looks long before we pull out the sweaters.

I love denim on denim any time of year, but when using a denim skirt, it makes a great transitional option. I cuffed the sleeves and added some wedges for now while it’s still pretty warm, but when things cool off I will swap those for booties and add a trench.

You may have noticed my current obsession with this bag. It is the perfect size, the perfect color and the perfect texture (they monogram!) and one I will probably carry well into the fall months.

Is anyone else really happy it’s Friday? To be honest, this week has left a bad taste in my mouth. Ever have those weeks? The kind where nothing major goes wrong per se, but there are just bad vibes being thrown out there? Insert palm to face emoji #GoodVibesOnly!
