Targeted Skincare

This post is in partnership with Paula’s Choice but all opinions are always my own. Thank you for supporting brands that make Glam Latte possible!

If you guys are following me on snapchat (username is glamlatte) then you already know the struggle I have been going through with my skin. I’ve been doing allergy testing with the dermatologist and trying to figure out what skincare ingredients irritate my skin.

So far it’s been a process of trial and error and since part of my job is testing skincare products, I only know when I try a product if it works well for me or not.

Several months ago I had received a product from Paula’s Choice in my ipsy bag and I remembered liking it, so when I had the opportunity to get a customized skin consultation (I’m not special, they do this free for everyone!) and try a line targeted for my skin type, I thought this would be great. What I did know about the brand is they had a reputation for being a pretty ‘clean’ brand of products, which in light of my skin issues, definitely gave me high hopes.

Some of my skin concerns are; large pores, aging, sensitivity (to who knows what) so this is was the I was sent. It looks like a lot of products but it came with detailed instructions on what order to use things in and what each product does.

Paula's Choice-c-2

I loved the packaging, I love that each product says what it does right on the bottle which I think is super helpful.

Fragrance is something I have been very aware of lately because it’s something my dermatologist warned me about. He said fragrance is something he’s seeing a lot of people have reactions too, but you can’t test for an allergy to it, and a lot of products don’t have it on their label. So I have really been trying to eliminate that from my life, and I noticed a lot of those high-end brands sold at the makeup counter are just perfume city.

These Paula’s Choice products are 100% fragrance free so they don’t have any harsh scents, and they put that right on the front on the label. This is something that makes me feel really good about this brand. They also offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee (within 60 days), no also do not animal testing or use irritating dyes.

Paula's Choice-c-3 Their product line includes something for everyone, acne, rosacea, aging, pores.
