I have been really trying to simplify my everyday beauty routine lately, so I was excited when Sally Beauty challenged me to take the Sally (Hair) Dare to get my best hair ever by letting me try some new products! I’m happy to share the results with you guys!
I like Sally Beauty because they have higher end products for much less, so you get salon quality products for drugstore prices. They have hundreds of products for under $10 and I think that’s something we can all appreciate!
I am the world’s laziest person when it comes to my hair. My process, which you can see below, is usually wash, apply product, blow out the front (aka bangs) and then let it air dry. The only problem is sometimes I have a little frizz to contend with, so I am constantly on the hunt for products that will help with that.
These are some of the products I used:
To Wash:
I think this process is pretty self explanatory, but I’m a multi-tasker and applied So Gorgeous Moisturizing Shampoo for Long Strong Hair to the roots, and So Gorgeous Moisturizing Conditioner for Long Strong Hair at the ends. They smelled good and worked well at leaving my hair both clean and tangle free.
To Style:
Next I sprayed So Gorgeous Moisturizing Styling and Strengthening Treatment Spray for Long Strong Hair and brushed that through with the Beautique Premium Bore Nylon Cushon Brush, which is my new favorite. The bristle combination combs through every strand, really getting any tangles out.
Finally I applied Ion Multi Benefit Styling Cream to help with frizz and I blew dry the front of my hair, while letting the rest air dry. This really helped tame that frizz that can happen during the air dry process.
I’ve also been working on simplifying my makeup routine. If you follow me on Snapchat (username: glamlatte) then you know I am challenging myself to do a 5 minute makeup routine. When you don’t have a go to brow routine down, it can add so much time to getting ready. So when going for a simple everyday look, I like to just add brown gel. It will stick to the hair and instantly make them look fuller and more polished. I also like to highlight right under the brow bone.
For eyes, doing a complicated eye shadow look can take way too long, but I am someone who prefers to play up my eyes over lips. Creating a simple cat eye with liner and adding a few coats of mascara does the job.

Another group of items I loved. The mascara gave me long and voluminous lashes without having to throw on falsies (too time consuming for an everyday routine!) The liner was creamy and easily blendable and the Arch Brow is dual ended so it has the gel and highlight all in one!
