Spring Beauty Must Haves // Hair

Hair

I tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to my hair. It’s the one area of beauty where I am the laziest. Since I have been on the  journey to lightening my hair (I shared part one here) I’ve been playing with different products. It’s a funny thing when you put bleach in your hair…all bets are off. My normal routine is no longer cutting it. Luckily I got to try some new products that have been working really great so of course I had to share.

  1. Umberto Dry Texture: This spray is really great for creating that at the beach look without the beach. It does exactly what it says, it adds texture but it does so even in humidity. It also keeps flyaways at bay and adds shine. I use it on wash days when I want to get big hair. Clean hair doesn’t hold as well as second day hair and this definitely takes care of that. I really like this brand, I also use their dry shampoo.
  2. Evo Happy Campers:  The next few products are by Evo. I can’t say enough about this brand. Each product has a snarky name and an even snarkier description which makes me giggle everytime I use them. They can afford to be snarky because each product really works. This one adds moisture and also sun protection, which is great particularly if you color your hair.
  3. Evo Day of Grace:  This is a leave in conditioner and one of my favorites. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and shiny and detangles like a champ.
  4. Evo Water Killer: I consider myself a dry shampoo connoisseur. It’s one of those products I can’t live without and I have tried so many brands. This one is really good. No white chalky residue, not too thick, not too thin and you really don’t need a lot to keep the oil at bay.
  5. Evo Love Touch:  I like this stuff for post styling. It adds shine and also adds moisture and since coloring it, my hair has definitely been on the drier side. This product really helps combat that.
  6. Bare Love Hair: This can be used one of two ways, either on damp hair before styling or on dry hair as a pre-wash treatment. I have done it the first way, as a styling serum and I really like how hydrating it is. This is what I call ‘the big guns’ for when my hair is super dry.
