How to Transition a Skirt Set to Fall

Although I didn’t make the trip to New York, I am still in the NYFW trenches. The beauty of the internet is that I have been able to watch the shows on live stream which is how I am able to be an official correspondent for AOL from (I’d like to say the comfort of, but truly this heat is anything but) Los Angeles.

My schedule just didn’t allow me to go and at first I was a bit disappointed but fortunately I didn’t have to miss out on the in the moment fashion excitement. To see all of my coverage you can head over to AOL NYWF Diaries.

If I had gone to NYFW, I probably would’ve worn an outfit like this. A bit of spring, a bit of fall, and a shoe that’s comfortable enough to run from show to show. I have had this blue skirt set for awhile now, and I stumbled upon it the other day while going through the clothing rack in my office and realized I never shot it for you guys. I thought creating a transitional look that is fashion week appropriate would be perfect for the occasion even though I’m not there.

I am absolutely obsessed with this jacket. I got it recently and I am going to be wearing it to death as soon as the weather allows. A black moto is an absolute must have for me for fall.

I’d love to hear what your must haves for fall are. Leave me a comment and let me know!
