If you don’t know who George Hurrell is, chances are you’ve probably seen his work. He was behind the black and white Hollywood glamor photography of the 1930’s and 40’s.
I told you here about volunteering to model for a friends photography class while they shot old Hollywood style photos and lighting. It was George Hurrell’s technique that they were experimenting with. It was a really fun shoot! I got to wear the BC/BG ball gown I wore here back in April when I played Cinderella for the night.
