DIY Patio Makeover

You guys I am so siked to finally get this post up! This project was something I was working on this summer and due to a few snags, I haven’t been able to share it until now. I know the summer is technically over, but the weather has still been super hot and since I live in LA, I will be able to enjoy this space for quite awhile longer.

If you are just tuning in, I moved last February and decided that it was a perfect time to bring my love of home decor here to the site in what we called #GLProjectMove.

It has been a loooong process turning my apartment into a place I am happy to call home and I am still working on it!

Things are really coming  together enough for me to share with you, so there are going to be quite a few room reveals, DIY Projects and home style how to’s coming your way this fall.

So back to my patio. I think it’s important to note that I am a renter. I repeat, you do not need to own a home to pimp out your patio!

I teamed up with Ikea and Lowes to make my vision come to life, which was an ethereal secret garden vibe. At night when it’s all lit up, that’s exactly how it looks. There are solar lights in all the plants so it is just the coolest and I feel like a wine drinking fairy hanging out there at night!
