Sweater Weather After the Rain

Over the weekend I headed up to Santa Barbara to spend some time at Bacara Resort & Spa. If you follow me on instagram than you may have seen some of the pictures I posted while I was there. Even though it started raining the minute we arrived (followed up by a pretty violent storm) it was still an amazing time. I have a more detailed post coming soon, but this is one of the outfits I wore after the rain subsided.

I really just wanted to be cozy and explore the beautiful grounds so I threw on this billowy graphic sweater I got last year. It’s the perfect sweater when you want effortless comfort, and I paired it with some ripped up denim. I have mixed emotions about these jeans, they are so comfortable, but they aren’t the most forgiving. Sometimes baggy jeans can make you look bigger, which is why I typically gravitate towards skinny jeans, but like I said, these are so comfy that sometimes I can’t resist. My favorite flat black booties of the moment were perfect for lots of walking around. It was so beautiful as you can see from the pic below…and the wine – so so good!
