I’m so sorry for my sparse posting lately. I’ve had quite the hectic few days. Over the weekend I had a yard sale after successfully participating in a friend’s last year. I decided since I had just moved into a new place it was the perfect opportunity to get rid of some stuff to make room for the new. It was the first one I had done on my own and it was SO much work! I had to get up really early because people who go to yard sales frequently come before 6am! Long story short after a long morning I ended up closing the garage door on my finger and going to the urgent care. For a finger, it was unbelievably painful! Thankfully it turned out not to be broken but it is a not so pretty shade of purple and wrapped in a splint. In addition, I started my last class of grad school last week and I thought I was still on spring break….sooo yeah. Clearly I have been taking on way too much lately, because it’s not like me to screw up dates like that!
Ok enough about me, let’s talk about fashion.
We are officially in the spring season, but it doesn’t quite feel like it yet. The weather is still in transition which means our outfit needs to be too. Some days might be warm, while other days not so much. The key to transitional dressing is to take one item from the old season and pair it with something from the new season. I find a great transitional piece for the warmer months is white denim. I have three looks showing different transitional options and for the first one I paired them with this amazing jacket I got from Riley + Coco. The darker color palette makes it more of a fall/winter item, but when paired with the white jeans it becomes perfectly appropriate for spring.
Stay tuned to the other looks coming soon and in the meantime I would love to hear what your favorite transitional pieces are in the comments!

XO,
I can't wait to break out my white denim, and this look is the perfect inspiration! I have a similar jacket that would work well for the still chilly NJ air! 😉

Thank you! I know it's a bit cooler on the east coast than here in LA, but our weather has been wonky. It goes from ridiculously hot one day to needing a jacket the next!
love these jeans
