Untucked with Uniqlo

Uniqlo

Can you believe October is already halfway over?! I love the fall months and it’s slowly starting to cool off a tiny bit so we can enjoy it. It’s hard to wrap ones head around fall when it’s still beach weather and I am aware that I am a bit spoiled in that department so I will try not to complain! I haven’t had the chance to go pumpkin shopping mostly for fear it would melt but I ham hoping this weekend I will get around to it. Still tackling that mile long to do list of mine so we’ll see if I can squeeze in any fun time.

I was able to actually wear a blazer and booties yesterday without thinking I was going to die of heat exhaustion, though it was in the 70’s so it was still a tiny bit of a stretch. The best way I find to create a fall illusion is to later with light fabrics and use neutral tones. In the case of this top by Uniqlo, it’s both sleeveless and sheer so it is light and breathable, making this blazer easy to wear but creates a layered fall look. I very rarely wear tops completely untucked, but for this look it kept the lines clean, which is what I was going for. Then I added booties, dark skinnies also by Uniqlo and a jewel tone bag. This bag by the way, is new in and I’m sort of obsessed with it. A spin on this Valentino for a fraction of the price. Can’t beat it!
