Operation Season Swap Part 1

It has rained for 3 straight days in Los Angeles. Not constant rain, but rain none the less. For us Southern Californian’s (spoiled brats that we are) that’s an eternity! I am already getting weather defective disorder! I felt the depression start to come on yesterday out of no where so I ran to starbucks and ordered a pumpkin spice latte STAT and tried to curl up on the couch and enjoy it. Until my need for productivity creeped it’s ugly head in.

I told you here about the wardrobe work I had yet to do…well that was almost a month ago and I still had yet to do it!! So off to my closet I went to began operation season swap.

I pulled out the bins I keep under my bed with my fall/winter wardrobe and swapped them out with the spring/summer clothes in my closet. This process also includes editing. I try on things I am unsure about and decide what needs to be tailored and what I no longer wear.

This process takes a LONG time but it is a lot of fun to rediscover things you already own and coming up with different styling possibilities for the upcoming season! 🙂

Part 2 of this process is doing the same thing for my shoes. I have to take all my winter shoes out of their boxes and swap them out for all my summery sandals. And since it’s raining again today I guess there’s no better time!
