Breaking up Black

I’ve had this serious obsession with black and gray lately. I’ve always leaned towards neutrals, but gray specifically, has been my go to color palette as of late.

I got this jacket awhile ago (worn here) and I love it. There’s something about a good statement jacket that makes dressing a breeze (Apparently I have been obsessing over those too as evidenced here.) You can pull together the most simple look or break up a monochromatic look like I did here.

I wore this look at the end of the week before we got a big rain storm here in LA over the weekend. That might sound dismal to some, but I actually kind of enjoy the rain. It was a great excuse to light a bunch of candles and get cozy on the couch (and maybe snack a bit too much!)
